Jan Arrigo is an emerging artist who strives to create an intimate and unpredictable view of the world. She extrapolates compositions from found scenes, finding stories from happened-upon moments featuring birds, animals, sea and landscapes (or people, architecture and still life) from travel or the New Orleans/Gulf Coast area. She works digitally or with film using both black and white and color, depending on the nature of the project or commission.
